I haven’t been to Zoobic in around 5 years now, but I remember it being a good little day trip while staying on Baloy Beach. I plan on visiting it again on my next trip up there. The girls always love it.
Lazarus from PIatNight, shared a nicely done video of his day trip to Zoobic. Check it out to get a good feel for the place if you’ve never been there and thinking of side-trips while in the area.

See the following poster for lots of additional details…..
Some of you guys checking out this site might be AC regulars interested in Subic but not sure how to get there from AC. Well, you have several different options:
The Southern Cross Shuttle Bus leaves Angeles every morning at 9:00am from the Brass Knob for 450pesos (and it has Aircon).
You can “Fly the Bus” from Swagman Hotel in Angeles for 500 pesos on Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun at 10:00am. (Aircon also)
The Dryden Shuttle Van Service. They have a van that operates daily. It leaves from Barretto in Subic at 12 noon and arrives in AC at 1:20 pm. On the return, it leaves at 2:00 pm and arrives back in Subic at 3:20 pm. Round trip is 1,000 pesos and includes seven “Buy-1-Take-1″ drinks in Barretto and five in AC plus a 10% discount on food and drinks at Kokokmo’s in AC. You need to book at Dryden, TI or Kokomo’s in Barretto or at Kokomo’s in AC. Or, you can send them an email at drydensubic@gmail.com and they’ll set it up for you.
You can also just hire a private car or van from almost any hotel in AC and/or Subic, but those will set you back anywhere between 3 and 5 thousand pesos. I know, I’ve done it myself. But not all that bad if you’re with a group of guys splitting it.
Lastly, if you’re feeling adventurous, you can take the Victory Liner from Dau Bus Station in Angeles to the Olongapo Bus Station, then take a Jeepney to Subic. They operate daily w/ hourly departures, but this is only recommended for experienced PI-mongers. Price can’t be beat. 250pesos with Aircon.
